Cane Creek sprint 85 with 19mm tubulars

12:08 pm
20 lap warm down
Gear 47 x 15 = 84"

Did not break 13 seconds on any of my efforts today, but the speed is slowly coming back, legs were a bit sore from lifting weights the previous day. Funny thing is, I can't seem to handle the Cane Creek Sprint 85 carbon wheels in the turns, I don't know if it is the deep V section or the 19 mm tubulars. It felt like I was riding on rollers when I put these wheels on and I was not confident in leaning the bike in turn four. Below are some of my training times from July 12th 2009 . It is always good to have data you can look back on for comparison, since every season you have to re-learn the nuances of every event.

1st effort
48 x 16 = 81"
Time = 13.28 seconds

2nd effort
50 x 15 = 90"
Time = 13.00 seconds

3rd effort
52 x 13 = 108"
Time = 12.69 seconds

4th effort
52 x 13 = 108"
Time = 12.55 seconds

5th effort
50 x 14 = 96"
Time = 12.73 seconds
